Dancing through time-----Volume V

Video Summary: Teaches how to perform a variety of dances such as the waltz, polka &mazurka. Details the history and changes to the dances over time. Best used for the Victorian time period or later.

Nuggets of gold: Viewing the dancers you can pick up on details that might otherwise been missed. The way the arms are held stiff, the amount of space between dancers and how that changes, the tilt of the dancers head. You can really close your eyes and imagine your characters prancing their way through the steps.

Value vs purchase price: Hard to say, mine was a rental.... I love Netflix

Enjoyability: Overall the video was boring unless you were to actually learn the steps, but there is some value to it. Watch the video with a cup of coffee in hand.

Future plan: Need to review the same video volume IV to see if it provides regency specific dances.
